Our Mission Statement
The mission of Majorpalooza Inc. is to raise awareness and foster support for children in the Central New York area who are underprivileged, disabled and/or have been afflicted by a life threatening or terminal medical condition. The Corporation will also provide support to youth programs in our community.
We started as a backyard party in 1998 and have grown into an organization committed to helping children in our community. In 2007 we began to raise money from our event and in our first year we made $800. Over the next few years we grew and so did our fundraising totals. We became Majorpalooza Inc. in 2010 and shortly after we were a not-for-profit (501c3) organization with a 18 member Board of Directors. Majorpalooza Inc. has it's major fundraising campaign on the Sunday before Memorial Day every year. This event offers a fun day for families at a minimal cost. We now offer anywhere from 2 to 4 events per year dedicated to raising money to distribute locally. We are always seeking out important causes so please do not hesitate to drop an email with an idea. Since we started raising money at our events in 2007 we have donated over $100,000.
